HANDS THAT HELP CONCERT

Join Us!

As we collaborate with Republic Bank, The United Nations, Queen’s Hall, Advance Dynamics Limited, Visit Trinidad, and CCNTV6 to broadcast, The Hands That Help Benefit Concert, a creative initiative in which the funds donated will go towards assisting students in need throughout the Caribbean via the University of The West Indies’ Global Giving Programme.

So, tune on SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST 2020, on TV6 at 7:30 PM or check local listing for other Caribbean territories, and watch as local performance artists, industry stakeholders and leaders in our community unite with the common goal of helping students in need.

The Cause

Through the annual Global Giving programme, The University of the West Indies (The UWI) aims to connect with alumni, parents, friends, well-wishers, and partners, inviting them to contribute to strengthening and sustaining the regional university and access to world-class higher education to Caribbean people through its indigenous University.

As part of the University’s commitment to quality, its leadership is taking due diligence in ensuring that no student is left behind at a time when education matters, the University is calling on its community of alumni, partners, and friends regionally and internationally to support students whose finances, and that of their parents, have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is a cause that we all can rally around as WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

So as you enjoy the entertainment, feel free to donate. A gift as little as $10.00 can add up to make a truly meaningful and collective impact.
